Weather update from Bramley Parish Council

You will all be aware of the amber weather warning in place for our area over the next 24 hours, and of the various Borough and County Council updates on travel conditions.  The Parish Council echoes the advice given in these updates; don’t make unnecessary journeys, and if you must travel then please take all the necessary precautions to stay safe.  We would particularly direct residents to the severe weather information page on the Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council website here: https://www.basingstoke.gov.uk/snow-and-ice

Your Parish Council would also ask that you keep an eye out for any of your neighbours that might be more vulnerable, and make sure that they have adequate grocery supplies, heating, and anything else they might need in the current cold snap.  If you have any concerns about a vulnerable person near you, please contact the Parish Clerk, Maxta Thomas, on 0118 981 5131, and we will do our best to direct your concerns accordingly.
