Below you will find a copy of a letter that should be delivered to villagers within Bramley over the next few days (3rd January 2019 onwards).

Diesel has been detected in the sewer system within Bramley Sewage Pumping Station which Thames Water are investigating and taking any necessary action.  This will require tankers to visit the pumping station to prevent the contaminated sewage reaching the Sewage Treatment Works.  Whilst it will not affect your waste water service or your drinking water, there will be an increase in traffic and noise due to the tankers visiting the pumping station.
