Interim Head of Financial Services
Following the decision by our current Head of Financial Services, Philip Hood, to retire after 30 years of service with the council, the decision was taken to appoint an interim Head of Service. After undertaking a virtual interview process, Suzanne Jones has been appointed and will be joining us from July to cover the role for up to six months whilst we undertake the permanent recruitment. Suzanne will be the deputy S151 Officer.
Suzanne has extensive strategic and technical experience working across all tiers of local government and across other public sector bodies
Guidance on changes to lockdown measures
Following the announcement by Prime Minister Boris Johnson of changes to lockdown measures in England from Saturday 4 July, further guidance has now been released.
