COVID-19 mobile testing facility
Friday 1 May 2020 – 6pm
The Ministry of Defence, working with the Department for Health and Social Care, has requested the use of Basingstoke Leisure Park as a location to set up a mobile testing facility for essential workers and their family members from Sunday (3 May).
Specially trained military personnel will collect swabs from essential workers who have an appointment and these will be sent to labs for testing. Workers using this service will remain in their cars at all times.
