A UK Parliamentary General Election will be held on Thursday 12 December 2019. The borough of Basingstoke and Deane is covered by three parliamentary constituencies, Basingstoke, North East Hampshire and North West Hampshire. We are looking to make improvements to play and recreational facilities at Popley Community Park and asking for your views to shape this. The park was developed about 10 years ago with plenty of community involvement and now, with an additional £400,000 funding coming from developer contributions, there is an exciting opportunity to give the park an upgrade with additional play and open space features. The responses received from the consultation will help shape the final design and work is expected to start on site early 2020.
