Minutes of the Meeting Held on 4th February 2013

3.0          Planning Applications review.

New application – BDB/77579 - Upper Cufaude Farm. Awaiting paperwork from Parish Clerk. 

Received since meeting – no objection.                                                                                                                                                   New application – BDB/77570 -  Greenwoods. Awaiting paperwork from Parish Clerk.

BDB/77535 – Jibbs Meadow – no objection but registered concern over parking issues.

4.0             Borough P&I scrutiny meeting report.

                   Members of the P&D committee have attended the 3 site assessment meetings, spoken on behalf of the Parish Council and provided written statements to Committee members, Officers and Cabinet.

                   A series of questions were asked of the Committee and whilst fully answered they were referred to during the meeting (see attached). The Chairman has pledged that we will receive answers. The site allocation recommendations will be the subject of a report to be published by the Portfolio holder on or around the 14^th of February.

PUBLIC INTERVAL – no speakers.

5.0             Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP).

                   Cllr Bell outlined proposals to progress the formation of the NDP.

                   This first stage will culminate in a public meeting on March 8^th 2013.

                   The Committee were extremely disappointed and concerned that an action, minuted at the last meeting, to include a flyer in the local magazine was stopped, without consultation with the committee on the basis that the PC newsletter would be published in the first week of February, this publication has now been further delayed, thus significantly reducing our ability to market  the NDP process and in particular the upcoming meeting. Cllr Wood undertook to ensure that the Newsletter is published without further delay. Cllr Bell will also provide two notices to be placed on all the village notice boards.

                   Cllr Bell will provide a detailed progress report at the next full Parish Council meeting – Feb 14^th 2013.
