Minutes of the Meeting Held on 7th January 2013


Parish Councillors Present: Malcolm Bell, Anthony Durrant, Richard Wood 9 members of the public attended.

1.0 Apologies None

 

2.0 Minutes of last meeting

Proposed by Cllr Bell and seconded by Cllr Wood.

 

3.0 Planning Applications review.

New application – BDB/77341 – Razors Farm. Objections raised in a number of areas. Finalise and publish formal response 8th January 2013.

TD BDB/77357 – No objection. Accolade case EC/12/00297 – case referred to BDBC’s Property Services Section – follow up. TD

 

4.0 RAZORS FARM BDB/77341 RESPONSE. All 24 “valid objection criteria” reviewed and responses approved for submission to BDBC.

 

5.0 Next response to the SHLAA and site/units allocation at the BDBC meeting 17th and 21st January 2013.

It was agreed that the response would be formulated after the publication of the draft allocation by BDBC. TD to coordinate.

 

Public interval.

Questions raised on Razors Farm. What is the parish Councils view on increased traffic generation and methods to ease the situation in Cufaude Lane and the C32? This had been answered in 4 above and Cllr Holland gave a timely update on parking near the station. Is the Parish Council going to make reference its response on the application to fact that razors farm had been allocated for commercial use and generation of employment? It was agreed that the response would note this fact. Would the parish Council make reference to the premature nature of this application by Croudace? It was agreed that this would be noted in the response to the application. All councillors to note January 17th and 21st 2013 being the dates for the next BDBC’s Planning & Infrastructure committee meetings.

 

6.0 Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). Cllr Bell presented the BDBC confirmed the submission of the application and explained the next steps. The need for the formation of a Neighbourhood planning Team was a priority and that the team must consist of a cross section of residents, land owners and businesses across the Parish. A flyer was approved for distribution across the community and that this would reach the public via a number of routes those being; inclusion in the PC newsletter; notice boards; website and a flyer include in the next publication of the Loci Pannum magazine. A public meeting day is to be arranged in the first week of March so that members of the public can learn more about the process and volunteer should they so wish. Cllr Bell to liaise with Parish Clerk to organise a venue.
