Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council are trying to reach as many residents as possible with essential information about available help and changes to our services. The latest news and updates on the impact of COVID-19 on the borough council and its services are available via the webpage www.basingstoke.gov.uk/coronavirus, through Facebook and Twitter @BasingstokeGov or by signing up for regular e-newsletters at www.basingstoke.gov.uk/signup and our news releases are available at https://www.basingstoke.gov.uk/press-releases

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council are aware that not everyone will use the internet, see social media or read or hear news in the media.  As part of their work to ensure this essential information reaches as many people as possible, they have produced.

  • Help for people in need who have to stay at home, which provides information for our most vulnerable residents on how they can access essential supplies, such as food and medicine
  • Temporary changes to bin collections, which gives information on temporary changes to waste collections that have been introduced to help the service continue during the pandemic.

The posters have been attached (below the images) for you to download and print out to display in your window or pass to neighbours or friends that may find them helpful.
