New grant scheme for small businesses

Grants are now available to support small and micro businesses in the borough impacted by COVID-19. 

Businesses are eligible for a grant of up to £10,000 if they have fewer than 50 employees, occupy a property or rent part of a property with a rateable value below £51,000 and are incurring fixed property overhead costs while experiencing a significant loss of income.This money is a grant and you will be taxed on it as income, but you do not have to repay it so please do make sure you don't miss out if you think you might be eligible.

Safe and secure accommodation 

"Every known rough sleeper has been offered safe and secure accommodation and this will continue indefinitely".
