Many Bramley residents will be aware of recent activity at the traveller owned site on Cufaude Lane. This activity has been reported to planning enforcement officers at Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council by both the Parish Council and local residents. Enforcement officers have been out to inspect the site on several occasions in the last 3-4 weeks. An injunction exists on the land and officers have visited the site on several occasions to redisplay the injunction and communicate with people on site that an injunction exists on the land. The injunction prevents the depositing of hardcore on the site and the siting of caravans for residential use.
Enforcement work from the Borough Council is ongoing, and the Parish Council are remaining in close touch with them, both to keep officers updated on activity at the site, and to obtain updates on any action being carried out by the officers.
