Minutes of the Meeting Held on 3rd December 2012

Parish Councillors Present: Malcolm Bell, Anthony Durrant, Pat Murphy, Richard Wood

1.0          Apologies

2.0          Minutes of last meeting

Proposed by Cllr Bell and seconded by Cllr Wood.

3.0          Planning Applications review.

Only one new application – BDB/77152  Committee recommendation to be submit within 3 days to Parish    Clerk.  Completed 5/12/12.                                                                                                                                                                   TD

Accolade case EC/12/00297 – case referred to  BDBC’s Property Services Section TD

4.0          SHLAA update

                All councillors to note  January 17^th 2013 is the date for the next BDBC’s Planning & Infrastructure committee meeting – Times and agenda to be advised. 

                Committee wish to meet with our two Borough Councillors to discuss SHLAA implications –

                Arrange meeting.                                                                                                                                                   

                Committee members to provide additional information to Cllr Durrant who will prepare a draft proposal for the committee.                                                                                                                                                              

                Prepare presentation for the P&I committee meeting 17^th January 2013.                                                

                NOTE: SINCE P&D MEETING the 17^th P&I meeting is not on the BDBC schedule thus I have sought clarification.  TD                                                                                                                                                                      

5.0          Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP).

                Cllr Bell presented the BDBC grant application processes.  Application to be submitted prior to December 21^st 2012.   MB

                Cllr Bell to provide structure of the “Groups” required to be formed within the NDP process.

                Cllrs are reminded that the cost of forming groups and disseminating information to the public must be funded by the Parish Council. Grants provided by the Government to the Borough Council will be used to fund BDBC based advisory and support services.

                We will not be submitting a joint NDP with Sherborne St John.

                CPRE will give project management support once we have formed a Parish Group to work on the NDP.

6.0          Infrastructure matrix discussion.

                Cllrs to prepare status reports for the next meeting.

Public requested that we review the timeliness of Committee and Council communication to the public.

Cllr Wood noted this request.

Next meeting  - Village Hall  7th January  2013.
