Minutes of Planning and Development Committee meeting

held in the Bramley Room of the Village Hall on 3^th April 2013, at 7.00pm.

Parish Councillors present were:

Tony Durrant, Malcolm Bell, Janet Grieve

No members of the public were present.

2.0             Minutes of the last meeting

Proposed Cllr. Bell, seconded Cllr. Grieve

3.0             Planning applications review

No new applications received. For current status please see appendix. 

Public Interval      

There were no members of the public present.

4.0             Neighbourhood Development Plan

Cllr Bell advised that following the March open day meeting sufficient members of the public had come forward to form the steering committee and He had begun the follow up process.

On the 10th April at 1900 we are holding the first meeting of the steering group in Bramley Room. In  attendance will be Stella from Planning Aid who will be making a power point presentation on what is involved in  getting the plan together.  All Cllrs are urged to attend.

There will also be a further meeting on May 7^th  at the BDBC offices to begin preparation for forming the NDP.   Again all Cllrs are urged to lend their support.

The Steering group needs to confirm those members of the Parish Council who wish to be on the committee,   those interested should contact Cllr Bell.  Cllr Bell is prepared to continue his “lead” role in the NDP process.

Regarding Communications from the NDP steering Committee it was generally agreed that this Committee should have its own website independent of the Parish Council, and this site should be maintained by the steering Committee.

5.0          Items for the next meeting  

The Local Plan would remain on the agendas until it was adopted, as will the NDP
